College is expensive, and whether you’re looking to save up a few extra dollars to put towards your tuition, or spring break, or retirement–side hustles can help you to do that. I’ll cover 9 ways to make money as a college student. I was in college for a long time (between undergrad and law school), so many of these are ones I personally used to make money.

About ME:
Hello! My name is Erika Kullberg. I’m a lawyer by profession, but my passion is personal finance. After I graduated, I had over $200,000 of student debt, so I made it my mission to dive into everything personal finance-related, so I could equip myself with the tools to pay off the student loans as quickly as possible. I ended up paying them off in under 2 years, and now it’s my passion project to share with you all of the strategies I’ve used to pay off my student loans, increase my net worth, credit card hack (travel on points), invest, house hack (invest in real estate), build passive income streams, and more. I hope you’ll join me on the channel!

Glad to see you doing your thing on YouTube with side hustle videos. 🙂
I never get any scholarships and has been doing it since I was a high school sophomore. I’m now a college sophomore. The competition for scholarships is just way too saturated and after years of trying, I just gave up because I just didn’t get any results
Your a Great person putting your own life aside to help others learn ways to help themselves ! 💖👍
My side hustle in college was bartending. This sounds better!
My #1 financial regret from college is not House Hacking during college. Could have had other people pay my mortgage and own a great rental asset.
Nice video.
Sadly in the Philippines before you can apply to any job even part time, entry level position and even if that job can be done by a high school graduate they require college degree and a 1 year experience.
The salary is so low for everyday needs, no wonder a lot of people in my country are still poor and some go to other country for better opportunity. I think because of these scams/rich quick scheme appeal to a lot of filipinos which is a very sad thing see.
While bpo/call center industries boom a lot in the philippines and offer bigger wage for me its not good in the long run it affects your health since a lot of accounts offered are international and work in different time zone, also the stress and pressure inside work these companies are not that great specially if you're working student. some HR of these companies makes you decide between your work and your studies and some people choose to work instead.
Great video thanks😄
I went to college and I didn't. Get to do what I majored in. O well had fun
Very insightful!
Hit the like 👍
I'm glad you're making this video. I had 9 years of studying (6 undergrad and 3 grad) and was fortunate to had been working at the time, part of the reason it took so long.
Any tips for winning scholarships when you're not in financial need? I don't want to rely on parents for financial support anymore
These are great ideas Erika! I had work-study jobs in college in admissions, student fitness center and research labs. Then I was licensed as an intern pharmacist while in pharmacy school. I love the idea of StuDocu for new opportunities!
Great video!
Kind regards from a small channel and enjoy your day!
Curios to know: How many aspiring youtubers are reading this?
Excellent ideas! College is one of the best places to find and master a good side hustle! 👊🏻
Investing rightly today can save you a whole lot of stress in the nearest future.
Incredible video ERIKA. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. Very much appreciated. Keep the awesome content coming. Hope you have an amazing weekend. Much love
😁👍👍👍💰💰💰💰You should of tutored The Notre Dame football team on how to play football… Hehe he 🏈😉👍
Not in college yet but it's good to know Tnx.
Freelance writing is a cool idea
I remember I was just so afraid to start anything going into college and that really hindered me. There were openings as a server/cook at the freshmen college dorms and it came with its own benefits like free food but I still didn't' take it. So many downsides to inaction and not starting earlier 🙁
Saving this so I can always go back to this 🙂
StuDocU seems like a really interesting opportunity!
So inspiring and motivated me to get at it!
