Even in 1961… The words were not as important as the tune itself, this is huge back then
such a classic beach song with BENNY SPELLMAN on the opening and doing backing vocals 1961 HOT WAX!
It is December 2021, I recall this song with great memories of my own MIL, whom I would tease mercilessly with it. Who knew that 60 years on I could still enjoy it?
Still listening 2021 old 🏫 🎶

JFK…. I will never forget him. For you young people, he was a real man, a real president, a gentleman and a real, honest to God, hero.
What a beautiful country was USA then!!!
Love this song. He starts right out telling you what he is singing about. No guessing.
As a comedy writer I have written and posted this song 100's of times and each time I get wonderful compliments. I mean when you've been around the block as many times as I have each mother in law drives you to drink and you just wish you could kill 'em all, ahahahahahahahahahaha don't hate me for being truthful, in reality loved them all, all 13 of them!!!
I wish 2018 was like this
RIP K-DOE WE STILL JAMMING TO YOUR MUSIC IN NOLA 2018
The video starts out with a bang, with my favorite TV couple of all time! Dick and Mary were easily the sexiest couple ever on '60s tv series! And ever since! They sizzled like no other tv couple ever have or will on network television again. The similarity to John and Jacqueline Kennedy was incredible, and the timing of their show (1961-66) overlapped the all-too-short time in the White House we enjoyed seeing them there.
POOR HUNTER!
Music has no color unless you're on LSD or a racist.
What guys hit pause at 133? LOL
His mother in law uses Ponds for her skin..so do ducks! She had a mud pack on and looked good for 2 days..then the mud fell off!

Only One Car from 1961? Hell… You Could have done Better! I liked the Clip Remembering the Year I was born in 61. along with the Song that came out that Year.
