I haven’t been to an office in 10+ years and I will never go back to one. The things these people “miss”, sound like a nightmare to me lol.
Love the editing 😆
Guys guys guys! we are forgetting the most important thing!!!
If we are not in the office we cannot do team building exercises!!!! (Yeah I just today had one asked of me and I'm still angry about it)
All those articles sound like they are paid for by someone who owns some office real estate. Employers too benefit from less office expenses so that only leaves one group of people with a vested interest in this BS…
As an introvert I never realized how much energy I was expending worrying about having to be "on" for an impromptu socialization until we went remote.
Means these companies get less tax breaks in those communities with their office space
Dude… I'm so glad I found your channel, happy to know I'm not crazy
"Someone reaching to my fries are getting a fork through their hand" LOL
I feel like these articles are just gaslighting at this point trying to convince people all the things they hated about commuting and being in the office was what they actually should enjoy
These were the same people who as children couldn't wait to get back to school in the fall, where I had the little kid version of severe depression in August
Is that a legitimate tin foil hat?…
I'm so glad you mentioned the ongoing war against introverts (and night people).
Another point to this argument is surely all that can work from home working from home will be hugely beneficial worldwide for the environment. None of these people will not then be driving to work 🤔🤷🏼.
My team leader and manager always say such stuff.. dude y dont you come to office.. dont you like to come to office bla bla.. bruh.. i dont want to commute 1 and half hours just to do the work that i can do at home… i dont say its bad in the office.. i have 2 3 frnds and we just talk in the free time when we dont have work… but thats not something that i want to commute a long way..lol.. i resigned anyways..
I'm a bit of an odd ball.
I'm an introvert, but I appreciate being around people. Interacting in small doses, but being around people feels good for the most part.
I also am one of those people that like to separate work from home. At work I work, I relax at home. I feel like home is my refuge and escape from such responsibilities. Call it a boundary issue all you want, but this is my experience.
But I would NEVER force this onto other people. Doing so in either case (for or against) is atrocious. I don't understand why people are trying to convince the nation as a whole that either way is better. Do what works for you, leave everyone else alone.
Let me "go to work" and you do your thing.
How can anyone miss driving the work considering the price of gas these days?
Miss their commute?? Flat out lie
As an introvert and engineer (goes hand in hand) – worked during lockdown at home. Most productive time at my carrier.
Remote work is considered socio economically disruptive, the question is disruptive to whom.
Starting a new WFH job after working in an office for a year full of people who talk to you while you have headphones on to ask you 99% of the time where the manager who you don't give a flying Batman fuck about is. Looking forward to it!
You guys get work lunches??? 😮
