Fix firestick not turning on | Power problem
This tutorial shows you how to fix a firestick that is not turning on at all.
If your firestick 4k, 2nd gen or 1st gen is not turning on, you can follow this tutorial
Get a new firestick remote replacement for Fire TV Cube (2nd Cube), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube (1st Gen), Fire TV (3rd Gen Pendant Design), Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen)

How to fix your firestick if it’s not turning on:
Once you move the power connector/tab, connect it to the TV to see if you have power. If not, continue putting more pressure to the tab until you get power on the firestick.
If you tried this and it still doesn’t work, then something probably shorted out in the circuit board of the firestick and you may need to purchase a new firestick.

Spray some wd 40 inside the usb port works great.
You should talk a bit slower and take your time getting to the point
Take the cover off. Clean it up, leave the cover off and it should work again. Mind did, saved me $35.00 from best buy.

And if none of these methods work, carefully take the charger cable out. Gently place the firestick on the floor. Slowly, and be patient now guys, raise your leg about 1 and a half to 2 ft off the floor. Then release said leg and use your foot to stamp that bastard of a firestick into the floor. Don't be scared folks. Just keep stamping until it's gone from one single device into multiple pieces.

I have 2 of these in one house and one in this house. I watched in the other house last week just fine and I tried to watch here and tv keeps saying no signal and I put in each HDMI port and nothing. I tried on another TV upstairs and nothing. It’s crazy. I think I’ve only used it twice or three times. I saw the black tab you mentioned and lifted but no luck. I’m so happy it worked for others.
