I feel like Amazon does this on purpose. Amazon prime works just fine. What a coincidence
How I fixed my issue?tossed my firestick in the garage and bought a Samsung TV and never had that issue afain
Everytime I open the app it says “create password” and when I do it says “Oops! Something went wrong.” I’ve uninstalled. Restarted. Cleared cache. Cleared data. Restarted my firestick etc.
I love the last method if that doest work throw that sh1t away and buy something else 😂
The app was slow and sometimes crashed but my entire list showed up and I had Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Surround Sound. Now after the HBO MAX app got updated, it's much faster but no my favorites list is limited to about 60 movies and and there's no way to see my entire list. It also downgraded my sound to Dolby Digital 5.1 instead of Dolby Digital Plus 5.1. The update is 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards.
So I have a fire stick and I have used the HBO max app a bunch on it before. Just went to go use it and the app shows up in my app feed, but says it needed an update. Okay I pressed update, won't update. So I exit out, restart my fire stick and now it doesn't ask for an update but won't open at all anymore. I go to clear the data and cache, only to find out 'my apps' doesn't show the app as downloaded to my fire stick yet I can see the icon. So not sure what's going on there.
