You all made this fun and thank you for the information for us all too! I paid $60 for the vise. The reason I had a $20 was there was another tool I forgot to show too! @Dave7777. I try to buy fairly as I'm a seller too. I aim and half of new if making an offer. BUT I'll always welcome the seller offering it for less! Keep wrenching you all!

  2. Randy Hearn says:

possible those pins are go-no go gauges.

  3. Kitze says:

9:27 could be something to bend tubes or something else … Great deal you made! Congrats!

  4. ww_big_al says:

Those look like "Head Type" die punches.https://www.tipcopunch.com/head-type.html Used in punch press machine for pressing parts. I have a coffee can full of those from a tool n die make friend. He worked at a shop making auto parts.
I paid $25 for a vise like that one 🙂

  5. EM FL says:

Tools are awesome, have some old stuff from my father. Could look and play with the tools all day. You got a deal!

  6. @6:58 the bag of pins/barstock – some of those look to be tapered. May be some Morse Taper adapters for a lathe. Good score man. You can never have too many tools

  7. Great buy ! I'm an auction hound always come home with stuff .you cant have too many tools

  8. impalaSS65 says:

Yeah bought a vise too…. and a boot filled with old quality stuff, some broken, some fully functional, of way too specific use for my unprofessional needs. That is a very nice vise.

  9. I thought that was cute that you bought some tools not knowing what they were! My husband (a retired Millwright) has a bunch of tools that I have no idea how to use them or what they are for! I have a motorcycle rotor on my wall in the living room cause I think it looks so awsome!

  10. lbahr11 says:

Nothing better than used American made tools. They have so much “soul”!

  11. pollepost says:

    35$ for the vice

  12. EBFatboy says:

    Hello Shane
That tool is a cv shaft boot clamp tool and the square holes in the handle are to add a power bar to add more leverage

  13. DV 821 says:

the pins 6 minutes into your video look like ejector pins for a die cast machine. I work at a factory and seen people use broken ones as punches

  14. Peter Kramer says:

The parker picks are great, for o-ring use. Nice combo with a tube of park’o-lube…

  15. Richard Hamm says:

Guys at work use channellocks on 80% of what they touch, drives me nuts, appreciate the passion for quality

  16. Carlos Silva says:

The thinks, you show Next to the drill bit, they seem to me, extractors, used in injection molds. after the plastic is injected into the mold, the extractors release the part from the mold.

  17. Steven Ertle says:

I hear you Shane I enjoy your videos I'm the same way I go to buy something and I come home with that and 500 other things LOL

  18. Lymitliss says:

Those black pliers are for crimping the bands onto CV axle boots. The square holes in the handles are meant to accept the square drives on 1/2" ratchets. By placing a long handle ratchet on each side you're essentially extending the handle length of the pliers, therefore increasing crimping force.

  19. $75.00 and they are bad ass

  20. Dave123 says:

You said he gave you 20 dollars change, so I'm going to say you either gave him a 50 dollar bill or a 100 dollar bill, which means the vice was either 30 or 80 bucks. I wanna guess $80…only because nobody carries around 50 dollar bills, but I really have no idea how much bench vises cost these days.

  21. $80-100 dollars for the vice

  22. LMAO!!! 🙂 waaay too funny a lead in line………………..I will buy different brands and models of tools that do the same thing, just because they look cool…….. and if someone offered me a load like you just scored, it would be in the truck before he could change his mind! Too many tools??? I think not! Love this vid. keep the shiny side up!

  23. The pipe clip crimper tool the square drive holes are when you have bad access or need more leverage you can add a ratchet or breaker bar. And the vice is worth $50 😃

  24. Barry D says:

Shane I need to get lights in that storage unit, and next time you need to bring more money… LOL

  25. Sawnerd says:

The parker seal tool is for o-ring removal and installation. You can still buy them.

  26. Jeff Love says:

    Custom Pipe bender .

  27. Jeff Love says:

Great deal. Few 1000 $ in tools. Awesome

  28. Jeff Love says:

    Ear type boot clamp pliers.

  29. K S says:

    30$ for the vise.

  30. Neil says:

I never find deals like that . You hit the motherload!

  31. Grumpy_Chef says:

I'm the worst lol .. I'll spend all day in harbor freight or at the tool table at a swap meet lol
