How to FIX Firestick Buffering and Wifi Connection Issues (Easy Methods)
Are you having problems with your Amazon Firestick Buffering and slowness when streaming?? Or are having problems with your Firestick wifi??? In this video, I am going to show you how to speed up your amazon firestick, so you have a faster, more reliable internet connection! It’s important to note that it’s very important on where you have your firestick located in your home. Is it close to your wireless router? Is the signal going through walls, floors or through your TV?

All these obstacles can reduce the strength of the signal being received by your amazon firestick. When your on the firestick itself, you can view the signal strength and use apps that monitor the background apps that are still running. Force stopping background apps can be very important too, those apps can be using data you are unaware about! The same thing goes for data monitoring, located in the firestick settings. So hopefully my video helped you fix your firestick buffering and wifi connection issues! If a tip helped you out, let me know down below in the comment section! …

Surprisingly it worked after looking a bunch of useless bs from different videos. Stopped the buffering. Great video young man and thank you.

  2. Nicety says:

Didn't work for me, but I value your expertise nonetheless.

  3. Thank you! This was VERY helpful!

why would they make it like this my phone gets 4 bars everywhere in my house but my fire stick is fair unless its right next to the router

  5. None of this worked for me. In the end, I logged into my router and disabled WPS. It worked like a charm and my Fire Stick flies like a rocket.

How do i fix a guide that won't load on my firestick

  7. I have run my fire stick fine without broadband and only using the cellular network coming from my phone but not every area has the same network strength. I’ve moved somewhere where I only get two bars so the fire stick just reached loading and I guess it’s not getting enough bandwidth from my phone or iPad. Do I really have to get a contract? Really?

  11. When I noticed your "Channel" that it shows under your wifi was "1," it made me wonder why mine was "52 "and what the heck that meant. (Had no clue.) Then I found this online: "Amazon Fire and various similar sticks/boxes only support 5Ghz channels 36-48. If you have a dual band router and your router is set to auto channel, every time the router changes to a channel outside of this range the fire stick will no longer be able to see the network and will drop the connection[…] The solution is to […] change the 5 Ghz channel setting from auto to usually one of 36,40,44,48 (non-overlapping channels). Then reboot the fire stick."
I did this by logging into my ATT router settings online, and changed my 5Ghz channel to "40" instead of "auto." My signal went from marginal to good immediately. Yay!

  12. Thank you! It helped in less than a minute!!! Other tubers gave me no hope. Thanks again!

I've followed step by step and I'm still getting the Start Playing 2 Seconds… Buffer Symbol… Start Playing 2 Seconds… Buffer Symbol… Repeat Repeat Repeat. Even Uninstalled YouTube app and reinstalled. Still… 💩

Great video though… I'm sure it fixes most problems.

    Super frustrated!

I have a ROKU TV and added a firestick(gift) My buffering issue is that youtube tv is the only app that freezes and buffers only with the firestick and it's only during certain times of the day No matter what i've tried nothing works is this a bad stick The stand alone youtube app on Roku has no issues Just on the firestick

  18. Thank u, it really worked..if u guys are wondering follow these steps problem solved 😊

  19. I have done all of that. I use CinemaHD and until the firestick update, I had no problems. I also have an Ethernet connected from firestick to Wi-Fi. I also use real-debris. Now, Cinema bufofers a lot. Some programs on cinema will buffer a lot like in Manifest. I don’t get streams or torrents for Blue Bloods and the 2 I do get are narrated when actors aren’t talking. Some shows I don’t get any streams. Any other suggestions?

  20. SB B says:

My router and modem are 2 ft away from my fire stick and I get buffing non-stop when using Cinema, I've tried all these techniques??

  21. Thank you for having my 6! This changed my user experience greatly.

  22. Question, I would normally hook my fire stick to mine or my wife’s iPhone. All of a sudden I can’t connect to those phones. I can still connect my iPad via iPhone hotspot. Do you have any thoughts on that?

  23. mario rappa says:

hey man. really like that method. more stuff please

OK have tried all of these multiple times, eventually I get connected to
the internet… here's the problem. If I switch bad to cable TV, using
the selector on the TV remote (the one that came with the TV), and stay
off of the firestick for more than an hour, it will lose its internet
connection. Sounds easy enough to connect, but it is not. Besides this
has been going on for the last 3 years or more. Anytime I use the
regular cable through the cable box, cable works great. I use the remote
to switch off to the firestick, which is on a different HDMI plug on
the back of my TV. When I do, it is disconnected from the internet.
Internet works fine for cable and my computer, meaning I can watch
anything on cable, go in the other room and use my computer online, no
problems, mostly. When I go back to the TV and switch again to the
firestick, either no internet or webpage not available. I have turned
off and on …many times both the modem(cable), router (wireless and
wired), PC, TV, cable box. I can get everything back up at some point.
The issue is why do I have to do this every time I switch to the
firestick, then back to TV, then to firestick, in which case the
firestick is disconnected from the network/internet…. help. BTW, I
have rebooted and reset (factory settings) on the firestick and have to
re-log more times than I can count… I can watch the firestick all
night, if I get off, in an hour its off the internet. I also have very
good signals. Again I have to keep resetting everyday..

  25. LOL this is total BS! Iv put my sticks in both rooms on a the 5.0 network. Still buffers!

  26. Hello young man you do not no how you just helped me with my fire stick you are the best thank you so very much.

  27. Nice video, thanks however your router name should read "We're all a part of the Matrix". not "apart"

  28. X S says:

  33. Still buffing…showing a good signal…could be the router I suppose…changed out the modem…Doc 3.1…DAMN! Looks like I'm going back to cable…got to keep the wife happy!
    Any suggestions?
