My remote won't connect, it's flashing green but nothing. The only button that works on the remote is the power button, can anyone help?

This is garbage. I’m getting no picture at all, and the roku remote doesn’t seem to be working.
I did the steps. This is garbage. Just garbage. Power in, hdmi in, display picture. You failed.
Now I’ve got the Let’s get started screen, and after the remote pairs, it acts like it’s not paired.
God damn, I knew I should’ve waited and saved for Apple TV. This is absolute trash.
I finally have it set up, I give my email for the activation, I click the link, and there’s an “unexpected problem.” Seriously, it’s 2021 and you put a beta product on store shelves. Not beta like trump and Ted cruz, but as in, this should be an alpha release.

I have Stick plugged into AVR then to HDMI on TV. Roku remote doesn't start AVR doesn't control audio. I had different model Roku and it did all of that. Anyone know if this is doable with the Stick?

Be careful when setting up Roku. Do not add any channels as they will more likely end up charging you. I added channels that I thought were free, and ended up having to pay for more than I could afford in a lifetime! Now I have to starve at work. Just be careful! My suggestion is that you do not add anything while setting up Roku and then add channels later as you are more familiarized with the channels and know they are really free. To be safe, just remove your credit card from the account so they can not charge you without your knowing. Only add your credit card at the time of purchase, and then remove it from the account when the purchase is done. Follow these points and you can keep your lunch money.
