Can’t tell if I’m reading this wrong but you should always inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth.
He didn’t do the first try right. Hof said if you force yourself you will get ringing ears
You do NOT completely exhale. And your breathing in is all wrong too. People should not copy this but go to an actual Wim video.
I have not seen Wim Hof doing it like this. Your extreme hyperventilating can be dangerous and likely, also, raise your blood pressure. I speak from the experience of once hyperventilating to enhance sexually an orgasm. I saw stars and felt like my head was exploding. I stopped immediately but later realized I had developed a 'cough headache'. Look it up. It has to do with the interaction of blood vessels and nerve channels in the scalp likely being inflamed. Upon straining in any way ; bending down, coughing, crapping etc. produces a bad headache for about 10 minutes. This lasted for a year or so before dissipating. So, calm down and control the breathing in a more relaxed way. Well, you did it your way for 30 days without problems but beware.

God you make that look difficult. Relax man do it lying down on your back. I managed 2 minutes the first time doing it like this. It’s supposed to be diaphragmatic breathing , fill your belly more than your chest.
Like anything, I would ease into this regimen. No matter if you feel like Superman all the time. I would read other input to gather as much info as possible, about anything really. Easy does it and I'm confident you'll develop your own regimen and your own pace. After my breathing sessions, always guided by Wim, I didn't keep up with him at first, but now after 30 days, have increased my hold time. Afterward, I feel a buzz all over, head to toe, and goes away the more I keep active. But that's just me. Please post how you feel once a session is completed or how it's changed from the beginning to the current time.

Yeah, this is incorrect instruction, Wim Hof doesn't instruct you to do short exhales, and why are you gasping for air? Wim doesn't do that either.
Weet er iemand waarom dat het mij veel moeite kost om 30 keer in en uit te ademen? want het kost mij nu veel moeite om het 30 keer te doen! In het begin was het zalig en nu voel ik niks meer het kost mij moeite om te ademen . Ik merk als ik het meer doe dat ik meer moeite heb om in en uit te ademen. En ook dat ik nog maar 20 seconden mijn adem kon inhouden . weet iemand hoe dat komt want ik begrijp het niet . Misschien kan Wim Hof mij helpen want ik doe het nu al een jaar niet meer om dat ik ni meer iets voelde en moeite had om te ademen en dat werdt altijd maar meer als ik het meer aan het doen was. Want met mijn lichaam is niks mis want ik sport veel.

You're breathing way too fast and you should be lying down when you do it. I suggest your followers watch a Wim Hof video for the correct method.

Wim doesn’t always explain or demonstrate things very well. He’s very enthusiastic but I find I need to research more to learn “how”.

IMHO you also need to listen to the info that Wim gives in his videos talking to you with info…very important and then you will be able to hold your breath …

I tried the Wim Hof method a few times, but could never stick to it, so I've decided to start today and stick to it. I suffer from anxiety so I really need it. I learnt it from Wim Hof's beginner method videos and I could do the breath hold for 1m30s from the start. I am quite unfit and in my 50s so I dunno if I'm doing something different. So thank you for the motivation and good luck to me 🙂
I mean immediately, it's lucky this guy doesn't have a shirt so we can see he breathes with his shoulders and not his diaphragm. Little tip for breathing, breath with your diaphragm and it looks like expanding your belly. You can breath with your shoulders but it shouldn't be the main component of your breathing. Shoulders are used to stabilize your arms. The diaphragm's literal purpose is to stretch your lungs forming a pressure difference to draw in air/oxygen.

bro! crazyest thing. acutally i went on a hike in the rain after using this method for 3 days. most rewarding hike ive went on ever. i normally dont like rain, but i just loved it. didnt even think about this until you said it just now, wow
