Some people are getting upset in the comments, so here are some clarifications:
– The point of this project was NOT to inspire homeless people or prove that they can easily make $1,000,000. As explained in the video, it was to show that people in general can make a comeback even if they lose everything. Yes, I know the title is a bold statement and there are always exceptions.
– Mike outlined all the rules of the project here: https://mikeblack.co/rules. He was really careful and deliberate to have no unfair advantages.
– The point of “but he had skills already and confidence so it’s unfair” is kind of the point of the whole video. In the end it’s all about skills and confidence, but both can be built and that’s the entire point. All the information you need is free online.

Well, not to be critical but… the entire 'going homeless' project is not well planned to simulate a true homeless person situation. For starters, homeless people do not always have an iPhone with Highspeed internet with them… neither they go on the street on their first day all cleaned. When a homeless people start their journey as homeless is because they have lost everything… and most of the time they have not had a place to shower or eat… so, I don't buy that project, it is not a true to life.

I did this on a different scale. I didn't go homeless but I did get cancer and quit the business it took 10 years to build. Sold nearly everything, went broke and lived in a friend's parents house. After my second surgery I figured that the cancer shouldn't hold me back. It may not kill me after all. Shouldn't waste anymore time dwelling with the devil. I despise Joe Biden for using the phrase build back better because he's not a fighter, nor is that his real position. Fight for life people! It's the greatest!!!
