I am a RAF child too, and moved many times when young. I was interested in you saying that you didn’t find it difficult to move. I’ve lived in the same house now for 29 years, but feel no particular attachment to it, and would move tomorrow if asked! (It would be horrendous given that we have 2 lofts crammed with stuff as well as everything else we have accumulated and a double garage, equally rammed!)

Dear Vykky, I have enjoyed this so much. In a way just what I needed to hear this morning. Our paths are so similar, yet so very different. I also sold my home this January, packed most everything into storage and moved thousands of miles away from where I’d lived all my life. I am still searching, at this point quite alone and lost, though I do have faith somehow things will turn out. Hearing your going forward plans made me smile, what a gorgeous dream.
