Severe winter storms expected to slam much of Canada this weekend
Environment Canada says extreme cold, high winds, and heavy snow are expected to slam large sections of Canada during the busiest travel days of the year. The federal weather agency is urging people to reconsider their holiday travel plans, with Friday and Saturday predicted to be the worst days.
