They need to have birth control freely provided to the people there. There are too many people. I expect that this mining could be automated.
i know that this is all very bad and concerning but think about this these children if they did not work in these harsh conditions if they didnt work here they would have died of starvation and thirst way before the debris can kill them. and right now im sure millions of people who have watched this are very concerned but they couldnot care enough about their makeup products you are still contunuing to use these mica based makeup products and commenting all this. child labour is wrong but this is what india is and us indians are pretty use to it at this point. i agree very well thatt this is really wrong and they should not be making children work along with barely paying them but it is what it at this point. if these children werent working and obtaining this mica, multiple daily use objects, you name it, would be inefficient for this growing population. i know i sound very insensitive but its true. think of ideas that could make this child labour stop. also this is the least of child labour. there is way more severe child labour done this is nothing

PRETTIER WITH PURPOSE
I don't think I can ever wear a product with mica in it without feeling sick. The millions of kids are still going through this every day, risking their lives so we can be "prettier". And no-one that I know of is helping except this one lady, that cared enough to actually go there and help stop it. I hope we'll all do something to help. And not only the mining mica, but any form of child labor.

Champa Kumari (the 14 year old at the end of the video) is a truly impressive human being. She's intelligent, brave, determined, persistent, forward-thinking and practical. She's a born leader. The reporter was talking to Champa as if she was a small child. How embarassing for all involved.

Modern Day Slavery comes in levels and these poor people are at the bottom of the bottom. A great place to make schools, build solar panels to create electricity, make wells to provide never ending water and create farms that can grow vegetables and cattle that can reproduce and feed them all. The investment I bet ain't nothing compared to building a new Skyscraper in New York or a new 5 star Hotel on a secluded beach BUT instead of doing that look how humans all around the world are treated. You have kids in these mines and on other types of mines all around the world. Also you have entire populations living right next to trash dump sites eating rotten food and selling whatever trash they can find that can be salvaged. It's just fkn crazy this world is like it is when you know that if they really cared and wanted to this world would be soooo much better. This world functions like it does because those who have and those who are controlling the world wanted it to be just like it is because there's just no fkn excuse to have this world be a cold azz planet full of shet with no fkn heart whatsoever😎

All these really makes me feel grateful, and feel how lucky I am and motivates me more to get rich and help these type of communities.
Most of the students when offered free education, will go to school for a few days then drop off and go back to mining mica coz they get paid a wage inturn they can support their families.
