1. Miranda doesn't need to be read unless the police are questioning a subject. Here the police were called and the school us pressing the charges.
2. Reference the child; children are not arrested and placed into juvenile detention unless it's a extremely serious crime. Generally they are released to parents. Gun charges will get you there. In some jurisdictions these are mandatory procedures.
3. Some are assuming this is a one and done first offense. We don't know the history of this student by this video or his daily conduct. I work in two schools that have behavioral disorder classes. I've seen several violent children that attack staff often. Not saying this boy is that but schools don't have children arrested for no reason so again don't assume this is your well behaved child being locked up and being detained at a juvenile detention center as this is not a normal event and the details are there to make a judgment.
I noticed that the camera was in the back of the squad car with him. And I don’t think that camera men will be at a juvenile arrest. They will probably use there body cam. Then I saw the ending of the video 😉
